The fabric is the same color on both sides and is flame-retardant.

The“Screen” fabric used for this type of filtering roller shade isflame-retardantandwashable. It features a perforated weave that allows you to see outside but not the other way around. This feature makes it particularly suitable for use in offices or living rooms, where you don’t want to lose the view of the outdoors.
The space between the threads is classified as 1%, 3%, or 5%, indicating the percentage of open space in the fabric and thus determining the degree of visibility. TheScreen 1%model has tightly woven threads because only 1% of the fabric is “open”; this feature makes the fabric more effective at blocking sunlight.
The fabrics can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth and soap.
Outdoor roller shadesfeature an upper roller box that encloses the aluminum tube, protecting the shade from the elements.
